Brand Revival Campaign: Vera Bradley

This project was a creative exploration of revitalizing a legacy brand that had faded from consumers' minds. My team and I selected Vera Bradley, a name synonymous with vibrant patterns and craftsmanship, and developed a multi-faceted marketing campaign to reestablish its relevance and popularity.

To transform Vera Bradley into a modern, multi-generational brand while staying true to its roots of quality, expression, and tradition.

My Role

  • Group Leader: I took the lead in organizing and motivating the team, ensuring deadlines were met and the campaign was cohesive across all aspects.

  • Creative Visionary: I developed the big idea for the campaign, "With You Through Every Generation," which became the cornerstone of our strategy.

  • Social Media Strategist: I spearheaded the revamp of Vera Bradley’s social media presence, creating concepts for Instagram and TikTok that modernized the brand and engaged new audiences.

Our Approach

  • Consumer Insights: Identified perceptions of the brand as outdated and “stuck in 2015,” leading to strategic updates in patterns, designs, and branding to bridge tradition with modernism.

  • Creative Strategy: Developed the campaign theme, “With You Through Every Generation,” emphasizing timeless connections and multi-generational appeal.

  • Target Expansion: Introduced a dual-audience approach targeting both long-time customers and a new, younger demographic.

-Highlighted user-generated content (UGC) and modernized the brand’s online presence for a vibrant, cohesive look.

Marketing Innovation:

-Introduced limited-edition drops and eco-friendly product lines to generate buzz and demand.

-Crafted storytelling campaigns to highlight Vera Bradley’s evolution and inspire new connections.

This rebranding campaign demonstrates my ability to lead a team, craft innovative marketing ideas, and develop impactful social media strategies. By blending nostalgia with modern trends, the campaign celebrates Vera Bradley’s heritage while positioning it as a relevant, aspirational choice for all generations.
